The Most Famous Designers by Subscription
I opened X (Twitter) on January 19th, 2024, to find 21 notifications. Considering that is 20 more than usual, it caught my attention.
The alerts were related to a tweet thread about the inclusion of Resonant Pixel Co. in the list of “The most famous designers by Subscription” https://bestdesigners.club
Pretty cool, right?
The ranking is based entirely on X follower count. We started rank #7 but do not use X much, so we have plummeted to #13 as of this writing.
Why wait to write this? I wanted to see if it referred traffic to this site, and it does. The site is referring as many visitors as Google which historically represents about 10% of our traffic.
All this makes me think that increasing X engagement could have top-of-funnel value. This is especially true if we continue to see top-of-funnel traffic decrease from Google thanks to AI.
